Oppia, a nonprofit based in the United States, has international projects dedicated to helping educate children. Their main focus is on education and reducing inequity at the international level. To do this, they provide completely free lessons for students around the world. Thus far, they impacted more than 1,000,000 students with their free resources.
Who can apply?
We are looking for talented volunteers with a long-term commitment to making a difference in the international community. Artists passionate enough to make graphics for free education, secondary students looking to use the skills they learned to create curriculum for aspiring scholars, as well bilingual students who know languages such as Arabic, French, Hindi, and many more to expand education to increasingly diverse communities.
What are the jobs required for the volunteer work in Oppia?
We are offering roles on the following:
– Problem-Creation Team
– Language Translation Team
– Graphic Design Team
Skills which are required
As an Intern, you will be required to make Practice Problems or Lessons for Oppia’s education program. You will need to commit about 4 hours of work per week during the upcoming weeks. The timings are flexible and virtual to accommodate each volunteer. Service hours are provided for each hour.
To apply, you must know mathematics, have exemplary English, and have teaching experience.
