Introduction
Internship for high school students to develop their skills in quantum computing and even learn to code on a real quantum computer by learning with instructors and teaching assistants from leading quantum universities like Stanford University.
Is there a certificate?
Yes, students will receive a certificate after completing the course.
Requires
Students from grade ( 9- 12 ), submits the application of their basic information and a 150-word statement of interest.
Details
Three activities each week: a 1.5-hour lecture, a 1-hour lab with a Teaching Assistant, and a homework assignment.
Schedule
The weekly, live lecture is on Sundays from 12:30-2:00pm Eastern Time. Lab sections are held Tuesdays-Saturdays, and you will be be able to choose the time that works best for your schedule.
Eligibility
No prior quantum or coding knowledge is required or expected.
Only high school students who have taken a geometry course are eligible for this program

Semester Breakdown
Semester 1 “Quantum Foundations” learn math for quantum computing, how to code quantum circuits, and the wonders of quantum physics.
Semester 2 “Quantum Applications:” learn how to code quantum algorithms, explore quantum applications and hardware, and complete a final course project.
Financial aids
Full and partial scholarships are available for students with financial need or from traditionally underrepresented backgrounds in STEM, including students who identify as racial/ethnic minority in STEM (Alaska Native, Native American, Black or African American, Hispanic, Native Hawaiian and other Pacific Islander), women and non-binary students, students who will be the first in their families to graduate from college, and students with disabilities. Scholarship applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
